According to the Spanish and British press, the Belgian playmaker will not move from London and will be the new captain of the 'Blues' who will raise him for 17.5 million per season
Eden Hazard will not leave Chelsea to wear the Real Madrid shirt. The Spanish club in fact - according to the newspaper 'As' - is not willing to pay the approximately 200 million requested by Roman Abramovich to leave the Belgian ace, the absolute protagonist of the recent World Cup in Russia.
The leadership of the 'Blues' rather - as the great part of the English press affirms today - will increase the engagement to Hazard, whose contract expires in 2020, raising it to 17.5 million euros net per season. The stay at Stamford Bridge of the playmaker, however, is not only linked to money: the new coach Maurizio Sarri, in fact, wants to turn the Belgian into the most important player of the team, to the point of entrusting the captain's band, instead of wearing it at expert players like Gary Cahill or Casar Azpilicueta. In the first friendly Sarri era, Cesc Fabregas was the captain of Chelsea, but it is expected that the next may be just Hazard, when he will return to the technician.
