In a deal which has taken many by surprise, Cristiano Ronaldo is on the brink of signing for Juventus.
Ex-Juve director general Luciano Moggi believes the transfer has been completed with medicals taking place in Munich.
But what are the details of the stunning swoop, which will see Real Madrid lose their crown jewel?
Record in Portugal have offered up all the finer points of the move, should it go through.
They report Ronaldo’s transfer fee will be £88million and he will sign a four-year contract worth £26million per year, or a cool £500,000 a week.
Jorge Mendes but the talks, which lasted into the early hours, were futile and have resulted in Ronaldo’s decision to quit the club, having already felt betrayed by the £88m valuation, and a lack of contract talks.
The Portugal star, 33, is set to be sponsored by Fiat, which will take away some of the financial burden from Juventus, meanwhile it is though Gonzalo Higuain’s sale, possibly to Chelsea, could fund the deal too.
Higuain’s agent and brother, Nicolas, though insists the Argentine will stay and can play together again, like back in Madrid.
He said: “They played together in Real and Ronaldo can make a great duo with Gonzalo, he is happy in Turin.”
The superstar forward also revealed his love for the club back in April after his stunning bicycle kick against them in the Champions League.
He told Real Madrid TV: “When I signed for Man United, there was the chance of Juventus, an extraordinary club that I followed when I was a child but I chose England.
“The audience at the stadium was one of the most beautiful moments of the night, and receiving an ovation from the fans of a historical club is a unique experience. Applauding me touched my heart.”
