Europa League, Rocchi will be the referee of the Chelsea-Arsenal final


There will also be a bit of Italy in Baku for the Europa League final on 29 May between Chelsea and Arsenal: Gianluca Rocchi will be the referee of the race.

 The 45-year-old whistle of the Florence section, international since 2008, this season has directed six Champions League matches and has already had the opportunity to take part in the Europa League final in the guise of fourth man: in 2010 for Atletico Madrid-Fulham and  in 2017 for Ajax-Manchester United.

 Also in 2017, he was the referee for the European Super Cup between United and Real Madrid.  Rocchi will be assisted by the line assistants Filippo Meli and Lorenzo Manganelli, Daniele Orsato will be the fourth man while at the Var Massimiliano Irrati, Marco Guida and the Poles Szymon Marciniak and Pawel Sokolnicki will be employed.
