Federer in the Wimbledon final: he will challenge Djokovic

The Swiss beat Nadal in four sets with the score 7-6, 1-6, 6-3, 6-4 and reached the last act of the Championship for the twelfth time in his career

Roger Federer beat Rafa Nadal and joined Novak Djokovic in the Wimbledon final The Swiss eliminated his rival in four sets with the score 7-6, 1-6, 6-3, 6-4 after a challenge just over three hours long. In the first set the Swiss champion imposes himself on the tie-break and then badly loses the second part, letting the Spanish vent and taking back a bit of breath necessary to then make up in the other two sets. Next 5-3 in the fourth, Federer wastes two match points, but in the next game he succeeds in canceling a break ball to Nadal and returns to have the ball to win the match.

The Spaniard, however, never gives up: he forces the Swiss to the fourth match point and cancels him again. The fifth is the decisive one: Roger Federer, who will shut down 38 candles next month, wins the twelfth Wimbledon final of his career.
