From words to facts. Mateo Kovacic goes to the clash with Real Madrid: today he has informed the club that he wants to be sold and that he will not return to training in Valdebebas, the sports center of the champions of Europe, until his future is defined. This is revealed by the Spanish sports newspaper Marca, the same newspaper that the Croatian midfielder had declared during the World Cup to leave Real to play more.
For Real is yet another thorny case to be tackled after that of Luka Modric, Inter's dream champion who would have asked for the transfer to Florentino Perez.
According to the reporters of Marca, between Kovacic and the club the tension is skyrocketing and will be tug of war. On the one hand, the 24-year-old midfielder who does not feel at the center of the project and wants to be protagonist elsewhere; on the other, the club that, as instructed by the coach Julen Lopetegui, wants to avoid the risk of an escape from Valdebebas.
Italian clubs remain at the window and await developments. Kovacic was offered to Rome a few days ago, but to keep an eye on the situation is above all Leonardo's Milan, who thinks of Croat as an alternative to Rabiot.
