The Uruguayan midfielder could be one of the excluded from the list for the cup and the Nerazzurri evaluate offers. According to British SkySports, the Blues have probed the ground: 36 million Inter's request
Matias Vecino is in the sights of Chelsea. According to rumors of British SkySports, Maurizio Sarri has asked the leadership of the Blues to test the ground for the Uruguayan midfielder of Inter, which could be one of the players expendable in the event of an increasingly probable purchase of Arturo Vidal. Vecino arrived from Fiorentina a year ago for 24 million and to let him leave Inter would have asked for 32 million pounds, just under 36 million euros according to the current exchange rate.
Sarri knows well the 27-year-old midfielder because he has already coached him at Empoli and would like to take him to London. The situation should be monitored and can take off in the next few hours: this year the transfer market in England will close on August 9th, just before the first weekend of the Premier League.
The fate of Vecino is strange: he scored the decisive goal in the Champions League play-off against Lazio, but he risks not playing in the cup with Chelsea (who did not qualify) or with Inter. Together with Dalbert and Gagliardini, the Uruguayan is part of the group of players that could be excluded from the list. Due to the restrictions on financial fair play, Inter will be able to count on a group of 22 players with an economic balance between purchases and disposals compared to the European two-season list. The list drops to 20 because the Nerazzurri lack the two players produced by the youth sector. Inter can add Skriniar, Martinez, Nainggolan, Vrsaljko and possibly Vidal, but will have to balance with the release of Vecino and others.
