The deal between Liverpool and Southampton was reached for the transfer of Virgil van Dijk. The 26-year-old defender will arrive in Anfield as soon as the winter market session opens (January 1, 2018): Dutch-born Dutch will not be available to Klopp for the (2017) home against Leicester.
Pounds worth of £ 75 million is needed to remove it from other prestigious European clubs, corresponding to a record 84.5 million euros.
